I've argued against fixed cultural measures inside organisations - academic models of human good behaviour that are constricting and claustrophobic. But rarely have I demonstrated how those cultural brain washing process are also, Xenophobic.
Sexual diversity is no more about men and women than molecular structure is about protons and electrons. They are totally mixed and confused by the topic of gender which in itself is an emotional myth and based on horrifically antiquated ideas about physicality.
Going to the heart of human consciousness, the paradigms that are sold in human development promote gender separation by appealing to either the masculine or feminine aspects of being human which, in essence, splits people into preference between one of the two innate aspects of being a whole person.
We may be defined by our sex, gender or preference, but within us all, by the decree of the universal laws of nature, we are both. We must be:
But when we prefer peace over war, creating over destroying, good over bad, we partition ourselves and so begins the root of self doubt and self abuse. To say the least, and all mental health issues have their root in this so often unquestioned realisation. Create and destroy are two sides of one coin, the art of being human.
This is consciousness. I don't pretend to serve this meal to those who are unconscious and wish to stay that way in polarised antique thinking. For those who are ready no words are necessary, for those who are not, no words are possible. Consciousness means transparency and when we say transparent, we mean to take the full brunt of dealing honestly with causation rather than dance with effects. All too often, human development plays into the hands of the unconscious mass, trying to promote a jaundice view of what it's like to be a real human being.
It goes to the heart of my discussions about culture and change. Compliance to corporate culture models and expectations of management is 100% essential. However, ownership of your total self is a completely different topic. I hope that comes through clearly here.
We must each be accountable. We must take ownership of both our creative (want what we haven't got) and our destructive (want what we've got), feminine and masculine sides and detach these from the language of "male" and "female" - outdated definitions of who we are and how we live, happily, in love and with success in this wonderful world.
