Mt Everest from Pangboche

June 24, 2007

Nepal, Khumbu

Pangboche is just after Tengboche and just before Dingboche. I'm sure it means nothing but I love the sound of those names. Pangboche is the home of one of my close friends, Lama Geshi, considered to be one of the most learned ringpoche's alive. The town also boasts one of the oldest monasteries in this area of the Himalayas. Fantastic place and a wonderful village.
